  • Putnam County Commissioner Daniel Brown asked for the city council’s support in trying to get the Georgia Department of Transportation to fix the intersection of State Highways 16 and 44. The Eatonton City Council voted July 5, to accept a “take it or leave it” offer from the Putnam County Commission on revenue sharing from the Local Option Sales Tax (LOST).
